The e-learning platform “Coeus” is administered by the Social Action and Innovation Centre (KMOP), based in Athens, 75, Skoufa Street.
The Social Action and Innovation Centre (KMOP) constitutes the data processor in relation to the personal data that the present platform collects during every user’s visit and registration.
The use and registration on the platform “Coeus” require the visitors and users’ unconditional acceptance, consent, approval and agreement regarding the platform’s Privacy Policy as it is described in the present document.
If the visitors/users wish to withdraw their consent, they shall contact the administrator of the platform at the following e-mail address: dpo@kmop.gr .
The present Privacy Policy applies exclusively to “Coeus” as well as to the platform’s services and it also covers all personal data of the visitors/users that are being collected during the visit and use of the platform. If the visitors wish to observe and study the contents of the educational programs provided by the platform, they should register and create an account. For their registration, there is a number of personal data that is collected such as their first and last name, their e-mail address and the users’ password chosen by them.
4. Collection of personal data
The users’ personal data that are registered on the platform and can be collected, stored and processed include the following:
- First name, last name,
- E-mail address
- Users’ password chosen by them when registering on the platform,
- Educational institution where users work (especially for educators who are registered on the platform in order to study and use the educational programs that it provides),
- Answers of the evaluation questionnaire provided to the users during the last phase of every educational program.
- Answers of the evaluation questionnaire provided to the users concerning related fields that could interest them. The completion of this questionnaire is not obligatory.
5. Minors’ personal data
The educational programs of the platform “Coeus” are exclusively addressed to individuals who have attained the age of 15.
The platform is strictly prohibited for individuals who do not fulfil the aforementioned requirement.
6. Ways of data collection
The personal data is collected electronically during the registration of every user on the platform “Coeus” as well as during the use of the platform, the completion of the evaluation questionnaire following each educational program and of the questionnaire concerning related fields that could possibly interest them.
7. Purposes of data processing
It is expressly agreed via the present document that the personal data of visitors/users will be solely and exclusively used for the purposes described below:
- Scientific and Research purposes
- The users’ personal data will be used for scientific and research purposes concerning the implementation of research projects carried out by KMOP provided that users will be informed of the content and objectives of the aforementioned projects.
- Communication between the users and the administrator of the platform
- In order to inform you about every eventual changes concerning the function of the platform, to respond to your questions as well as to send you our newsletter in case you decide to register on the newsletters of the platform.
- Information on the new educational programs
- In order to inform you about the new educational programs that would be provided by the platform.
- Reminder about the completion of every educational program
In order to remind you about the completion of every educational program.
8. Retention period
The e-learning platform “Coeus” cannot retain your personal data for more than two years. After the end of the aforementioned period, all collected personal data will be erased from our electronic and physical archives unless it is necessary to keep it for the protection of our legal rights in front of the competent tribunal and in any case, for no more than the limitation period provided by law.
When the users exercise their right to erase all their personal data from the aforementioned platform, the data are immediately erased from our electronic and physical archives.
9. Data transfer to third parties
The Social Action and Innovation Centre (KMOP) that constitutes the administrator of the e-learning platform “Coeus”, does not transfer personal data of visitors/users of the platform to third parties.
In exceptional circumstances, KMOP will have the right to transfer them only in case European or national legislations require it as well as when it is considered necessary for the realization of the educational programs and all the other services provided by the platform.
